Complete Every Section of Your Google My Business (GMB) Account

When setting up your GMB account, you need to completely and accurately provide all of your business’ contact information: name, address, and phone number (NAP).

You must take your time with this step, ensuring all information is correct. Posting NAP information that conflicts with your other online listings can decrease your GMB’s effectiveness. For example, if on your website you have your address listed as 123 Main Street (and you spelled out the word Street), don’t use the abbreviation “St.” in your GMB listing.
